Perfect uniformity whether it be color, blacks or white/grey. The tiniest smidge of IPS glow in the bottom left corner - and when I say tiny, I mean tiny. Zero backlight bleeding. WebCheck for it in the OSD (On Screen Display; the menu that you navigate with the buttons on the monitor). The only differences between an IPS and a VA monitor, that I can think of and that might cause the pain, are the colors (saturation) and the contrast. A hardware color calibration tool might fix any saturation or "wrong" colors.
