Do people actually like shine on their ABS keycaps?

In addition, you can easily replace the keycaps on your keyboard without any tool. We have made it as easy as simply replacing your phone case! WebI know of that method, but the keys shine pretty quickly afterwards. WebShine is the result of months-years of use. Oils and other particulates wear down and into the cap and smooth the surface. Like how river rocks are smooth from water rushing. No matter which material you are using the keycaps will shine after time of usage (the skin on your fingers regenerates where the plastic on keycaps does not). ABS vs PBT conversation is a dead beaten horse. Obviously it takes for PBT more time to get shine than ABS. However the durability is not the only aspect of quality. WebThey shine because they are not entirely made of actual PBT but a PBT/ABS blend...just like virtually every other "doubleshot PBT" set. PBT is a material that is very difficult to mold and having it produced in doubleshot technique would mean the tooling would be extremely expensive so the keycaps would also cost a lot. tiv stationery
